Altai Mountain Premium White Shilajit - Brakshun / "Stone Oil" in 30g or 60g Amber Glass Jar
Introducing White Shilajit, also known as Brakshun or "Stone Oil" - the secret, highly revered sibling tonic of our popular rich black Altai Mountain shilajit. White shilajit is scarcely known outside of the Altai Mountains and Russia, and, like black shilajit, is a highly revered ancient medicine and tonic of the peoples of the Altai Republic. Known as the "food of the immortals", this naturally occuring, easily dissolvable mineral exudate (unlike black shilajit, it is not a resin) is traditionally used in cycles, as an effective restorative of the body’s systems; balancing immunity, replenishing intestinal microflora, regenerating tissues, strengthening bones and assisting in the rapid repair of fractures, and promoting organ health. It also helps rid the body of inflammation, and works to rid the body of dysbiotic bacteria, fungus and parasites. This unique, highly soluble "stone oil" as it is commonly referred to in Russian is actually not an oil at all, but a relatively soft mineral exudate in the form of creamy-beige mineral granulates. Our Premium white shilajit, is collected by specialist local harvesters in remote regions of the Altai mountains. Lower quality white shilajit, by comparison, which is more common amongst the few retailers that stock white shilajit, is less astringent in taste, less potent in effect, paler in colour and contains a good deal of limestone ballast, approx 15%. Our highest quality, premium white shilajit does not contain these impurities and dissolves effortlessly in water, with no remnants. The main difference between black shilajit and white shilajit, is that white shilajit contains very few organic elements. White shilajit is mostly non-organic (not derived from or relating to living matter) and contains at least 49 micro elements including gold, silver, platinum, iridium, germanium, etc. in highly absorbable micro mineral state (m-state). It also contains a large amount of iron, copper, zinc, manganese, selenium, nickel, chromium, cobalt and titanium. As well as high levels of sodium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, manganese and iodine.Ingredients: 100% White Shilajit, also known as Brakshun. I personally enjoy drinking my bottle of white shilajit water (as described) with a gram or two of black shilajit mixed in at the same time. For regular users of black shilajit, adding white shilajit into your supplement routine (or simply adding to your water), is an amazing way of taking your health up to the next level, with a highly-revered, unique marriage of compounds rarely imbibed outside of the Altai.Typically a cycle with white shilajit is 2-3 months. At the end of the cycle, discontinue use for 2-3 months, before continuing again for another 2-3 months and continue in this format, throughout the year for optimal health, energy levels and exceptional immunity.

After that time strain the sea moss into a glass jug or bowl to separate the sea moss fibre, which you can eat also, or fine chop in meals, so nothing is ever wasted.When you strain the sea moss liquid, it will look like the sea moss gel has not been successful, but as soon as this cools down enough to transfer into your glass jar, you will see this thicken up considerably. Transport into your glass jar and put into the refrigerator, the gel will continue to solidify, and a few hours later, your gel will be ready for use. If the gel is a little too thick or thin for your use, simply amend the water you add next time.Regardless of your method, sea moss gel keeps for 2-3 weeks when refrigerated in a glass jar. I am thrilled to launch my first South African product in the form of wild Cape Green Rooibos tea. Rooibos is a highly revered botanical, endemic to the southern tip, or cape, of South Africa - one of the most biodiverse regions of the World, where it grows alongside 100s of other endemic species in a Mediterranean class climate. Whereas millions of people around the world already drink the oxidised/fermented form of Rooibos, known as red rooibos, or commonly as redbush tea, our wild-harvested rooibos is purposefully green. You see, the potency is in the green.Green rooibos vs red rooibos, is very much akin to the difference between green tea and black tea. Whereas red rooibos is only dried after it has undergone significant bruising and oxidation/fermentation, as is the case in the production of black tea from the green tea leaf harvest, green rooibos is simply freshly harvested and dried. As a result, just like with green tea, green rooibos has a much high polyphenol and antioxidant concentration, and, in particular, it is rich in a very interesting flavonoid polyphenol called Aspalathin, that is essentially unique to the rooibos plant (Aspalathus linearis). When rooibos is led through the standard issue bruising and oxidation/fermentation procedures, its leaves turn that characteristic red colour, but in the process, the majority of Aspalathin is degraded. After many years of research and sourcing, I am so excited to bring you these truly wild Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) mushrooms, carefully hand-harvested, by experienced mushroom harvesters, in the old growth wild forests of the Altai Republic, Siberia, and then gently sun-dried.Genuine wild reishi, authentically grown in the wild on wild trees, is really rare on the market, unless you are literally in a specific village in Siberia or China. The vast majority of reishi on the market is grown indoors, under manufactured conditions, often through the use of a number of dubious chemicals. By stark comparison, our authentically wild Altai reishi is entirely an organic product of the forest, and because it must survive intense climatic fluctuations, from very hot Summers, to brutally cold Winters, intense UV and other oxidative stressors, its revered suite of bioactive compounds, beta-glucans, triterpenoids, sterols, polysaccharides, phenols, etc, are produced in larger concentrations as a natural defence mechanism. Bring to the boil, turn to a simmer, and let simmer for 1-2 hours. In this time, the water will typically reduce to 750ml of potent reishi tea. Strain and enjoy. Repeat 2-3 times to extract all the goodness from the mushroom, then discard into your compost. Reishi is also a wonderful companion to simmer alongside our other similarly hardy wild offerrings: Chaga, Dandelion root and Shatavari.While smaller, thinner mushrooms can be broken in the hand, medium to larger mushrooms can be carefully cut on a chopping board with a sharp knife. In general though, if the mushroom is a bit too dense, I preferentially advise to make an initial tea with the whole mushroom, then cut it after its first boiling, now soft and hydrated, it is considerably easier to cut.Pro tip: after simmering your reishi, and the mushrooms have cooled down, make sure to squeeze the pieces with your hand to release the extra potent tea hidden hidden inside them.
