We all know that a ship in harbour is usually safe, but as John Shedd so immaculately stated, "that is not what ships are built for”.
If you are not training for the "open sea", physically, mentally and emotionally, you will be chewed up out there. All ancestors worth their salt have said as much. You must dare to face yourself in order to know thyself. In so doing, in these acts of undoubted daring, you might become strength, wisdom, resilience. Dare to become the most coherent and consistent version of yourself. Become a beacon of sanity, fortitude and radiance out at sea; already home wherever you might be.
Become veracity. Become vitality. Hold the vision that stirs deep within and manifest it; as if life, real life, depends on it.
Society becomes much easier to usurp and manipulate when its denizens are fighting amongst themselves, arguing over the trifling and the fictional; captivated by the inane and irrelevant. If that same state of nature is also reinforced by fake and contaminated food, polluted water, and a compulsion to adopt a cancerous economic model, then you can fairly reliably produce a significant number of philosophically pre-literate hominids with minds that are little more than bean bags, comprised of different packets of regurgitated "stuff".
Of course, that is only one part of the story. A vibrant energy has grown to meet and engulf the extreme nonchalance of the modern thrall, entranced, as he is, in a monument of programs. A roaring and aroused minority expands now, all across the realm you call "Earth". Beings who are actively accessing their inner-philosopher, their inner scientist, their inner judge, whilst getting themselves into the best shape, resilience and spiritedness of their lives. Their numbers grow by the millions now. And, what is more, the sharpening of that acumen, that process of blossoming, is deeply inspiring and empowering to millions and millions more. Authenticity was always the cure. You thought it was the perfect "regulation", but it was y(our) authenticity all along.
